Did you know?
Over 22% of undergraduate and graduate students at UNC experience food insecurity. With a mission to provide food assistance to the Carolina community, the Carolina Cupboard was founded in 2014. We want to encourage all Carolina supporters, alumni, parents and students to play a vital role in ensuring all students have the nutrition they need to succeed by participating in the Pantry Bowl. Carolina and NC State are competing to see who can receive the most gifts to their campus food pantry. We’ll share the final results on Nov. 29, but no matter who has the higher total, we all win when it comes to supporting our communities.
Carolina Cupboard is an on-campus food pantry that provides food at no cost to students who are facing food insecurity. We are located in Avery Residence Hall’s basement (295 Ridge Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514) which can be accessed through the side doors. Please contact us with any questions or concerns about receiving or donating food, our email address is CarolinaCupboard@gmail.com.
